Erin McKenna's Bakery (1:00 PM, also at Disney Springs) — 100% gluten-free bakery. Stock up on treats for SeaWorld and KSC days.

Groceries

Skip the Publix stop? Order Walmart+ or Instacart delivery to the VRBO house on Thursday night from the Yacht Club. Schedule delivery for ~3 PM Friday. Saves 60–90 minutes on transition day. Target is also 0.4 miles from the house for anything you miss.

If shopping in person:

Publix: 8145 Vineland Ave, Orlando

Hours: Daily 7 AM – 11 PM (closed Sundays). ~8 min from Disney Springs, on the way to Kissimmee.

Snacks for SeaWorld and KSC
Drinks, easy dinners for Sunday night
Soft-sided collapsible cooler (≤15L) — no glass
Ponchos x5 (or grab at Dollar Tree — $1 each vs. $12–15 in-park)
SunPass Mini ($4.99) — for FL-528 tolls to KSC. Load $10–15. Way cheaper than Alamo's PlatePass.
Coffee + coffee filters (not provided at house)
Pool towels (not provided at house)
Extra trash bags, foil, ziplocs
Ziploc bags for phones on water rides
Extra toiletries — only starter soap/shampoo at house

Backup: Walmart at 3250 Vineland Rd (~1 mile away), 6 AM – midnight daily. Target 0.4 miles from the house.

Toll Pass for KSC Drive

Option 1 (recommended): Buy a SunPass Mini

$4.99 at Publix, Walgreens, CVS, or any gas station
Load $10–15 online or at the register
Peel and stick to the inside of the windshield
Works immediately — tolls deducted automatically
Total cost: ~$10 ($5 pass + $5 tolls round trip)

Option 2: Alamo's PlatePass (do nothing)

Alamo automatically charges tolls via license plate + a $3.95/day convenience fee
The daily fee applies every day of the rental, even days you don't use tolls
Total cost: ~$21 ($16 in daily fees + $5 tolls)

What to do: When picking up the car Friday morning, ask to decline PlatePass. Buy a SunPass Mini at Publix during your grocery run. Saves ~$11.

You can ask for a late checkout to noon if you'd prefer a more relaxed morning. Disney deluxe resort guests can sometimes get this at no charge — call the front desk the night before (Thursday).

Even without it, you can leave bags with bell services after 11 AM and use the lobby/pool until you're ready to leave.
